中国书画院以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，贯彻执行党的基本路线，坚持文艺为人民服务、为社会服务的方向，坚持“百花齐放、百家争鸣”的方针，弘扬主旋律，提倡多样化，广泛团结关爱中国文化事业的优秀书画艺术家、收藏家、企业家等社会各界人士，积极组织社会公益活动，开展国内和国际各地区之间的文化交流，促进各民族和各宗教之间的友好融合，广泛宣传和推介中国当代优秀艺术家及其作品，为中国文化事业提供一个坚实的艺术舞台。为繁荣和发展我国书画艺术事业和实现中华民族的伟大复兴而努力奋斗。
President Xi’s "socialism with Chinese characteristics" is the direction of our institute’s development. We carry out the party’s basic lines and persist in providing services for the public and society. Furthermore, we fully adhere to the "A variation of thought from all" policy, promote a diversity of culture as well as unite people from all sectors of community who care for the propagation and continuity of Chinese culture. We achieve this by actively organizing social activities, conduct cultural exchanges events both domestically and internationally. More importantly, we do this to propagate and publicize talented contemporary artists and their artworks, to facilitate interethnic and interreligious integrations through the provision of an international cultural development platform. Finally, we strive to contribute to the prosperity and development of Chinese artistic endeavors and to fulfill the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
